I love me some teen soaps and these two got the chops. "Gossip Girl" started slow, but has quickly picked up the pace and sucked the viewers into the evil world of the uber rich prep school kids of Manhattans upper East side. It has a solid cast and is very well written by the creator of the O.C. (first season rivaled nine-o) Josh Schwartz. Lets just say the kids are evil and have the money to get what they want and lets face it, teen dramas only work when the characters are extremely loaded, consult the past for proof... Done consulting? Ok, good. Just take my word for it. Check "Gossip Girl" out tonight on the CW.
"Greek" is my vote for best new show last year and it continues to steamroll the hour long comedies this season. The premise is basically kids going to a fictional Cypress Rhodes University and are involved in the Greek system. Crazy hijinks ensue and lots of tomfoolery and skullduggery happen in the lives of these kids. It also contains some serious comedic genius from Clark Duke, who also happens to have an online webisode show with Michael Cera from "Superbad" called "Clark and Michael" check that out too.
Anyway, what I am trying to say is, if Garfield had cable, he too would be able to get through Mondays.

Harrumph!
"Hey, I didn't get a harrumph out of that guy."
"Give the governor a harrumph."
"You watch your ass."
I loved the first season of Greek and all its post-pubescent awkwardness. Haven't been able to catch up to the second season yet, but when I do, glad to hear it will be just as rewarding.
Shirk
Not a great episode of HIMYM last night. Not enough Barney, and too much Robin a shitty plot does make.
That is true, Yoda.
